Scott's Accident - 1/17/11

While waiting for Scott to meet us somewhere...I can't remember...I called him to see what was taking him so long.

Well...

A lady was stopped in the left turn lane when she suddenly decided she would turn right instead.
She turned right from the left turn lane, right in front of Scott who was going straight.
He swerved but still hit her.
His car was totaled.
He's OK!

Oopsie!


Windshield was cracked by the airbag...not Scott's head


We got the bumper back


Thank heaven for airbags!

The other car was a minivan


Giving the police the report...luckily there were many witnesses


Lots of help came


Scratches from the airbag explosion


Whoa is me!  The only casualty - a BRAND NEW drink from Circle K


We drove past the scene again after heading up to get Scott another drink.  They were almost done with the clean up.

Now we get to buy a "new" car.
sigh

SO GLAD SCOTT IS OK.... AND I HOPE SHE HAD ISURANCE!!!! WHERE WAS THE ACCIDENT AT? I KNOW THOSE WERE CHANDLER MOTORS BUT I COULDN'T SEE SIGNS.....

Has my absence made your heart grow fonder?

Just wondering... I'm back I'm behind I'm intimidated There is no way that I can "catch up" with this blog.  It's a daunting task.  It's one reason I'm so far behind!  I want to post but then I see the enormous amount of time and posts that have past since my last and I walk away. So...I will sum up.   Sorry...wordy and no pictures. After our fun trip to Moberly, MO, we joined Jen, her kids and Gma J in a caravan to SLC for the Plewe Family Reunion.  We were so excited to be traveling with family making travel life more fun with cousins!  We did have fun but the hellish travel trends continued to plague us!  At one stop Gma locked her keys in the car...we waited for a LONG time till AAA could come and break us in.  This put us into our first stop pretty late but nothing unmanageable.  However, when we got to our hotel in Cheyenne, WY the hotel we had a reservation at (and called to confirm just a couple hours before) had given our ...
