A Happy 14 Years Indeed!!

A look back...
(Click on a picture to see it full size to see all the gory details)

These are pics while we were dating/friends
Scott LOVED that car...we had it forever!!
The day after the night we got engaged
Our Announcement
Scott is from a small town in Missouri. His Dad wrote this article and they ran it in the paper. Pretty cool!
We were married on a beautiful sunny day in January at the San Diego Temple. Scott's family coming from Missouri where it was below freezing were happy that we chose such a warm place to be married! I chose it because I was rebelling against the LA temple that we lived closer to. My brother and sister both got married in LA and I wanted to be different. What a rebel!! Also the San Diego Temple had just opened 6 months earlier so it was still so new!
Some fun pix of us after and outside the temple
More fun pix - my matron of honor was my sister Danene and Scott's best man was his friend from BYU - also the pic of the 4 boys...those are Scott's brothers mocking him for the way he always seemed to pose when a picture was taken of him.
At the reception the next night. I highly recommend having your reception a different night than the wedding. We had such a relaxing time and were able to really enjoy everything!

Happy anniversary!!! Michael and I will celebrate our 15th anniversary this August. I love seeing your old scrapbook pages - I used to use that same DJ Inkers clip art!!! My, how times have changed in the scrapbooking world!!

Those pics at the temple bring back bad memories of missing all the pictures because that weird relative of yours (maybe he wasn't weird, but he seemed so to a young 16 yo girl from MO) took us to the beach and wouldn't take us back! I was so sad when we got back and all the pics were done...I'm sure the others were quite happy the kids weren't there to take care of when they got out of the temple. :)

I still have guilt...lots of guilt. He was a weird relative. Some kind of cousin. My Dad's cousin, I think. Can I say "sooooooooooo sorry" again 14 years later??!

I love to hear stories of how people met. Thanks for sharing. The pictures are great! So typical of early 90's fashion.
