A Game of Memory

STOP "JUST LOOKING" AND PLAY, DAB-NABBIT!!

Okay, I am stealing this from a friend's blog, but I think it will be fun.

Here's how it works:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one or more memories that you and I had together, or just some memory of me. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot. Anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. :) If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments or send you an email. (You know, you non-bloggers can still post comments. Just click "comments" below this post...)
It's that simple! I hope everyone will play!

The best memory I have of you is the comment you made at Tim's homecoming luncheon right after Troy and I got married. When Scott and I were trying to figure out why we recognized eachother he asked me if I drove a white jeep. Right before I could answer yes, you replied.....

"No Scott, she is not the girl with the jeep-- she is not that obnoxious...." :)

Good memories!

Driving your mother down to Provo each week on the 15 freeway pushing snow with the front bumper of the car so she could see Dr. Dick Clark. Running next door to get the bishop to help me give you a blessing when you stopped breathing, close call with SIDS. Throwing you up above the roof line of the house many times while you giggled all the way up and down and your mother holding her breath. Knowing you were awake whenthe crib squeeked from you jumping. You jumping with both feet off the ground before you were a year old."Jump Pammy jump" and off you would go to the delight of your grand mother and everyone else around. Standing through the back of your chair to eat your meals. Showing Danene that you could tie your shoes before she could, which was a great motivater for her.(She had to learn before she could go to kindergarten.) You crying when she got on the bus to go and you couldn't.... That should start you off! Love,Dad.

OK my first memory of you was talking to you after an enrichment at Nicoles house and you had just moved here. Rylee was struggling with phonograms so you followed me home and borrowed our set of cards. Hopefully now everyone is all caught up and doing great in school. She does have an awesome
2nd grade teacher.

Wow, I don't even know where to start, but one memory stands out. It was a certain finals week at BYU and we were studying for hours in my room. I started to say, "Wow, Pam, my buttocks..." But before I could finish you screamed, "YOUR BUTT TALKS!!!?" (I was going to say it was numb from all the sitting)
Love your guts! Leslie

Well, I hope this isn't too embarrassing...but I remember in YW, (right after you had your first baby)we were talking about bras and boobs in the whole group and I remember you saying, "Yeah, I never had boobs until I got pregnant!" So real and honest...made me laugh until I got there and my A's became C's and I knew what you meant!
Pam Jorgensen said…
Thanks Anna! I love it when my former YW and I can share pregnant boob stories! Rock on!

Ok Pam, I remember about a year ago, just after we had moved here, going to an ice-cream Enrichment on Chandler Heights and after, everyone was leaving. But you, Kelly Norton and I stood outside and talked for a long time about our moves here and our families, etc. We had a good time laughing and talking!

That was the night we became BFF, Kristina!

Ahhh...the cheek speperator...some of my best words of wisdom, thanks Amy!!
I have so many fun memories of you. Of course, the baby blessing outfit. It was definitely a labor of love...I would sew something together, but I got it all wrong and had to unstitch it and do it again...whether it was a good outfit or not, I'm glad all your boys used it. I remember you always making me feel special even though there were a million of us. THANK YOU! I remember talking "swimming" and your smelly puppy. I remember being at your house and Scott trying to tutor Megan and I in Physics. (I know that's not directly about you, but oh well). Thank you for making a wonderful, lasting impression on me. Love ya!!!!

I remember that very cool outfit you made for my first born for his blessing because I refused to put my boy in a dress, even if it did win Best in Show at the LA County Fair...but you came to my rescue and made the outfit for a boy! I had 3 boys and they all wore it! You rock!

I have this same memory post on my blog...about 3 posts down.
