I went to take the trash out and put the bin by the curb and I found this...
ICK!! I can't believe I was able to get close enough to take this picture. I'm scarred for the rest of the night...now I need my nice music and lots of prayers so I can sleep and not dream of my visitor.

Ugh. We found one earlier this summer. And the worst part . . .we were so busy taking pictures that IT GOT AWAY. Oh believe me when I say that we used a whole bottle of Raid on my flowers that night.

Is that a black widow? I've never seen one IRL but I know they have a red spot on their belly. I actually really really like spiders. That's not to say I don't occasionally kill them when I find them in the house. But just imagine ALL the other bugs that would be in the house if the spiders didn't catch and eat them!

Yuck, I am grateful we haven't seen one of those in our house.

Thanks for teaching Kobi, I remember she said it was "Rylee J's mom and dad" I always have to smile when she sings. She loves it. I'm not sure she is always in tune, or knows the words, but she certainly likes to think she does.

Ewwww, the legs are a mile long! It is so creepy, but I think I'd take those over the scorpions I've been finding inside my house!

First of all I'm itching now from head to toe, I HATE those things. Secondly, I feel your pain. We are a black widow magnet, we have SO many we go on black widow hunts. Sometimes we'll find 4 in one night. Seriously, my head is crawling!

Has my absence made your heart grow fonder?

Just wondering... I'm back I'm behind I'm intimidated There is no way that I can "catch up" with this blog.  It's a daunting task.  It's one reason I'm so far behind!  I want to post but then I see the enormous amount of time and posts that have past since my last and I walk away. So...I will sum up.   Sorry...wordy and no pictures. After our fun trip to Moberly, MO, we joined Jen, her kids and Gma J in a caravan to SLC for the Plewe Family Reunion.  We were so excited to be traveling with family making travel life more fun with cousins!  We did have fun but the hellish travel trends continued to plague us!  At one stop Gma locked her keys in the car...we waited for a LONG time till AAA could come and break us in.  This put us into our first stop pretty late but nothing unmanageable.  However, when we got to our hotel in Cheyenne, WY the hotel we had a reservation at (and called to confirm just a couple hours before) had given our ...
