Scott's Shoulder Procedure

Poor Scott has been suffering with a pain in his right shoulder that makes me a bit irritated sometimes. He's supposed to be the man and carry things for me, or lift things for me, or open jars for me. He couldn't even snuggle with me correctly because it hurt his shoulder too much!
After many failed cortisone shots, he finally had an MRI that told the doc's that he has Adhesive Capsulitis...which means the tendons in his shoulder have tightened up so much they are basically frozen and stiff. So on Tuesday we went over to the hospital so they can give him a shot directly into the problem site. YIKES!
He was prescribed one, single valium to calm him before the procedure. They wouldn't let me come back while they shot him up but here are a few pics of the day.
Here's his single valium...it's pretty tiny!

We were happy to see that the generic for valium is DiazePAM...cute

Waiting his turn

That teeny, tiny pill shut him down...he had a little bit of a hard time even at Sonic!

Your mother had a simular problem with pain in her shoulder. I think it was about the time Danene was born. She had cortasone shots directly into the joint - at least twice. One time as they were doing this, the needle brook off. It was being done in the clinic which caused some great concern. In those days the procedure hurt a lot. It was hard to give a local into the joint. Through her I have been exposed to a great verity of medical experiences.
Thoughtfuly, Dad.

Nice! I want some! J/K...I'm not a druggie...but I do really enjoy the feeling right when the epidural kicks in. Maybe I'll have another baby so I can experience that again... :) How's Scott? I guess I could call to check on my brother...

Oh yes...awesome hair Chase!!!
