Swimming Lessons '09

I taught swim lessons again this year! Last year ('08) I taught as well, at my good friend Trish's house. This year my good friend Sherrie offered up her backyard for the fun. I have such amazing friends to let me take over their backyards for 8 weeks! Allowing 30-40 kids and their families run rampant in those backyards everyday, for that long! That's over 100 kids and their families over that 8 weeks!!
Someday... *long far off look*... we'll have our own pool in our own backyard. Until then...again, I have FANTASTIC friends.
This was the 2nd year that I taught swimming lessons. Since I'm always busy teaching AND in the pool full of water, I'm not able to take pictures! I asked a Mom of a couple of my swimmers to take some for me and my Shamrock Swim site. I'll be adding these pics to that site on a later date. Thanks, Jen, for these fabulous shots!

ok. I thought that I missed you before. But now I am really having a sad bout of melancholy for the "good old days."

Is teaching swimming like riding a bike? Once you've got it, you'll always have it???

I wish we lived closer. I'd sign my kids up in a heartbeat.

Has my absence made your heart grow fonder?

Just wondering... I'm back I'm behind I'm intimidated There is no way that I can "catch up" with this blog.  It's a daunting task.  It's one reason I'm so far behind!  I want to post but then I see the enormous amount of time and posts that have past since my last and I walk away. So...I will sum up.   Sorry...wordy and no pictures. After our fun trip to Moberly, MO, we joined Jen, her kids and Gma J in a caravan to SLC for the Plewe Family Reunion.  We were so excited to be traveling with family making travel life more fun with cousins!  We did have fun but the hellish travel trends continued to plague us!  At one stop Gma locked her keys in the car...we waited for a LONG time till AAA could come and break us in.  This put us into our first stop pretty late but nothing unmanageable.  However, when we got to our hotel in Cheyenne, WY the hotel we had a reservation at (and called to confirm just a couple hours before) had given our ...
