Quickie Cali Tripie

So, after I had spent Memorial Day weekend in Hermosa Beach working for Stacia
I decided that I needed to go back to the beach. Danene (with Brayton, Clare and Collin) was going to be there.  I've always wanted to hang with her at the beach!  Brayton will be off on his mission soon and Mitch will leave while he's gone so we really wanted to get them together.
I had little time before bunion surgery and I wanted to make the most of it.

I posted on Facebook a plea for a place to stay in Cali.
Surely, since I had grown up there, someone would have a couch or small room for me and my kids.
Turns out...I do have friends and family left in SoCal!
My cousin Tim and his wife Melissa Jensen said we could crash with them
and then Marsha Maynard, wife of the BEST coach ever (Dave) offered her guest house to us as well!

So!  Off we went.
Without Scott (he had to work) and Chase (he had to leave for Scout Camp too soon).

First we went to San Dimas
I love it there!

Has my absence made your heart grow fonder?

Just wondering... I'm back I'm behind I'm intimidated There is no way that I can "catch up" with this blog.  It's a daunting task.  It's one reason I'm so far behind!  I want to post but then I see the enormous amount of time and posts that have past since my last and I walk away. So...I will sum up.   Sorry...wordy and no pictures. After our fun trip to Moberly, MO, we joined Jen, her kids and Gma J in a caravan to SLC for the Plewe Family Reunion.  We were so excited to be traveling with family making travel life more fun with cousins!  We did have fun but the hellish travel trends continued to plague us!  At one stop Gma locked her keys in the car...we waited for a LONG time till AAA could come and break us in.  This put us into our first stop pretty late but nothing unmanageable.  However, when we got to our hotel in Cheyenne, WY the hotel we had a reservation at (and called to confirm just a couple hours before) had given our ...
