Families Are Forever

Our Bishop has extended a challenge to our ward. We were asked to visit the temple this month (February) as a family at least once. 
We decided there is no better night than Family Home Evening to take our family to see the Temple and the Visitor's Center. We watched the Joseph Smith movie and the kids each learned something new. 
Mitch learned that every single soul has worth to God. 
Chase learned that Joseph Smith almost lost his leg and had to have an operation with no medicine. 
Rylee learned that Joseph loved his family and he treated them kindly...even his brothers and sisters and played with his children. 
Carson learned that a lot of people died in Joseph Smith's time.
As always, the kids loved looking up at the statue of Christ. They even touched the holes in His feet. 

We have a family here on earth.
Our family is forever

You're such a good mom! What a cool thing for your family to do. I have no doubt that your darling kids are going to grow up to be just like their wonderful parents because you took the time to do stuff like this with them.

Yes, just go to Priceline.com and you can name your price for a hotel room!

then for the Disneyland tix, just go to myjetertravel.com. And call the phone number, the guy lives a mile from disney and you pick up the tix and drop them off when it closes...he buys 6 day hopper and then "lends" them out ;)

Has my absence made your heart grow fonder?

Just wondering... I'm back I'm behind I'm intimidated There is no way that I can "catch up" with this blog.  It's a daunting task.  It's one reason I'm so far behind!  I want to post but then I see the enormous amount of time and posts that have past since my last and I walk away. So...I will sum up.   Sorry...wordy and no pictures. After our fun trip to Moberly, MO, we joined Jen, her kids and Gma J in a caravan to SLC for the Plewe Family Reunion.  We were so excited to be traveling with family making travel life more fun with cousins!  We did have fun but the hellish travel trends continued to plague us!  At one stop Gma locked her keys in the car...we waited for a LONG time till AAA could come and break us in.  This put us into our first stop pretty late but nothing unmanageable.  However, when we got to our hotel in Cheyenne, WY the hotel we had a reservation at (and called to confirm just a couple hours before) had given our ...
