She's Baaaa-aaack!

When we first moved into our home in April 2007 we were told that our house was vacant and we were the first owners.  It was a "spec home" and was built about a year before we bought it.  It sat empty for that year waiting for us...or so we thought!

Someone already lived at our house!!  Mama Bird wasn't too happy when we started invading her space with all our trucks, cars, people and stuff!!  She fearlessly guarded her babes.

You can only see 4 beaks, but there were 5 baby birdies!

Fast forward to the present...

Mama Bird is back and she's fearlessly guarding...

...more precious things.
Welcome back Mama Bird!

When I read the title of the post, I thought you were referring to yourself. April 28th - May 17th is far too long for me to go without getting my "Monkey Pants" fix. :)

I'm glad your birdies are back ... and that you are back, too.

This is so cool. Whilw I hate birds, I love when their little nests are so full of eggs.

I love the pics of the airplane graveyard. I knew about it from the movie, "Can't Buy Me Love." An oldie but a goodie. I would love to go and see it. Did they totally love it or just enjoy it?

How are swim lessons coming along?

Awesome. Baby birdies are so ugly they're cute, with their scrawny necks and huge beaks and tiny little tongues. Great pictures. I can't believe I've missed so many of your posts. Looks like a lot of fun lately!!
