Dodged a Bullet!!

I first got this summons to appear at jury duty in July. I was going to be in Missouri and had the option to postpone, but just once...the next time I got a summons I would have to report.
So when I got this summons I filled out the necessary forms online and was told to call in for my reporting time on Monday, September 29th after 4:30pm.

When I called in to hear my group number listed with many other group numbers I was prepared to learn that I needed to be somewhere very far away from my house at 7:00 in the morning. I hate mornings but I was prepared...

I heard my group number...and voila! RELEASED!!! Whew! Bullet sucessfully dodged. Scott has been summoned TWICE for jury duty and has had to report both times for a boring day at the courthouse. Although I know my name goes back into the "pot" and I can be called again...tomorrow will be a good day.

NICE! I'm all for good citizenship, but I have not heard good stories about jury duty! WHEW!

Has my absence made your heart grow fonder?

Just wondering... I'm back I'm behind I'm intimidated There is no way that I can "catch up" with this blog.  It's a daunting task.  It's one reason I'm so far behind!  I want to post but then I see the enormous amount of time and posts that have past since my last and I walk away.
