Barney Ranch

My Dad came into town the first week of June for a family reunion with his cousins on his Father's side. He acutally spent his young childhood here in AZ...Mesa. He has a ton of cousins still here and each time he comes he is able to get to know more of them again.

After his reunion with his Dad's side, we were able to meet up with a cousin from his Mom's Pomeroy side, Ann Pomeroy Barney. She invited us to her ranch just north of Payson near Christopher Creek. There were horses, wagons, game rooms, theaters, a park, quads, and all sorts of other things to keep us all entertained! We definately want to go back!!

This place was AMAZING! Ann and her husband Dennis have 10 kids and they have planned this ranch house to have a room for each of them. WOW was my only thought as I toured through this beautiful home away from home.

On the left is the 4 car garage with 4 suites above it. On the right is the house.
This is the bunk room for the boy grandkids. There's another all decked out for girls on the other side of the house. There is enough beds in there for 10 kids! - the girl's is just as big
This is a loft room on the 3rd floor with all the games...pool, shuffle board, xbox...you name it!
Here's Chase on the 2nd floor, but look above and you can see the 3rd floor.
Ann and Dad as seen from the 3rd floor...I zoomed in.
This is the very authentic theater that seats about 30 people!
Dennis took us on a ride in this wagon pulled by his quad.
It was bumpy but a fun ride
They have about 10 horses and we got to feed them from our hands...scary and kinda gross
Here we all are by the horses...Scott and Mitch are missing because Scott had to sleep and Mitch was at scout camp
Rylee got brave and tried but ended up throwing the food at the horse
They even had this cool park right outside the front door
complete with swings
Dad and I are sitting in the "McGuire" room. Most of the bedrooms were dedicated to a family name and she put heirlooms from that line in that room. It was pretty cool.

Holy Crap! Miust be nice to be related to someone who has all of that! That's a gorgeous ranch! Glad you had fun and got to see your dad!

How cool is that? Too bad we can't get our family to build something like that...LOL.
