Mitchell Scott Jorgensen - 11/22/95

Mitchell's birthday was on Saturday. There wasn't much of a HOOPLA because he was on a campout and had gotten his present 3 weeks early. He turned 13...I have a teenager, officially! He's been acting like one for a while but now his age matches the attitude.

I love my oldest with a full heart. He has always been my friend and has always loved me back. Even as a teen with 'tude he has always been up for a snuggle, hug or just a chat on my bed. Here are the top 13 reasons why I love him so...

13. Kills all the bugs in our house
12. Easy on the eyes ;)
11. Loves babies
10. Loves doggies (especially Toby)
9. Makes friends easily
8. Has a sensitive spirit
7. Helps me more than he wants to but still does it
6. Still hugs me in front of his friends
5. Loves his siblings (he won't admit it, so don't ask but he does)
4. His Dad is his Idol
3. Repentant when he needs to be
2. Says he loves me back
1. Makes me laugh everyday

What a cute baby he was! Let's see... Easter '96, I was telling my parents that I was getting married. Wow, time flies. Eowyn, I love your name. I have a daughter by that name. :)

Wow...I totally remember when he was born and the boob comments thereafter. HA! How crazy...I was a beehive. Mitchell's age.

Has my absence made your heart grow fonder?

Just wondering... I'm back I'm behind I'm intimidated There is no way that I can "catch up" with this blog.  It's a daunting task.  It's one reason I'm so far behind!  I want to post but then I see the enormous amount of time and posts that have past since my last and I walk away. So...I will sum up.   Sorry...wordy and no pictures. After our fun trip to Moberly, MO, we joined Jen, her kids and Gma J in a caravan to SLC for the Plewe Family Reunion.  We were so excited to be traveling with family making travel life more fun with cousins!  We did have fun but the hellish travel trends continued to plague us!  At one stop Gma locked her keys in the car...we waited for a LONG time till AAA could come and break us in.  This put us into our first stop pretty late but nothing unmanageable.  However, when we got to our hotel in Cheyenne, WY the hotel we had a reservation at (and called to confirm just a couple hours before) had given our ...
