Storm of the Century

It really, truly was.
We had planned this trip to California and Disneyland for months! The week before we decided to check out the 10-day forecast to make sure we packed the right kind of clothes. SHOCK! They were predicting a storm that would bring record breaking rainfall A record from 1902, hence "Storm of the Century"! Other terms they used were "coastal erosion" and "flooding with debris-flow". How are we supposed to enjoy our time at Disneyland when there might be debris? We had to postpone our trip for another week. Thank Heaven for trip insurance!!
I lamented on Facebook and had several responses! They all said we should go anyway because the parks would not be crowded and we would be able to walk on all the rides!
We decided to go ahead. Here is what we endured...

On the way to California

Finding an open spot inside was hard so we opted for anything dry outside.

Luckily we came prepared with our own, much less expensive, ponchos

Umbrellas came in handy too!

Taking pictures from the car so we don't get wet

WHAT HOTEL DID YOU STAY AT BECAUSE THE WAY YOU DESCRIBED THE BUNK BEDS AND DOORS CLOSING OFF THE TWO ROOMS SOUNDS LIKE THE PORTIFINO THAT WE STAYED AT MANY A MOONS AGO WHEN WE ONLY HAD TWO LITTLE MUNCHIES!

LOOKS LIKE YOU HAD A TON OF FUN!!!!
