Physical Therapy

Here's an update of Scott's progress with physical therapy. It's going to be a rough road of pain for my poor man, but he's optimistic that it will all be worth it in the end!
Using a pole to push his arm outward for a first stretch
Using the pully system to stretch...you should note that his arm is already stretched higher than before surgery. He couldn't lift it this far for me to shave his pits, so already, amazing progress!
The therapist called Scott's doc and asked permission to remove his bandages. The tape they used was so sticky it took skin with it!
Our first look at the carnage
Assistant therapist Courtney trying to GENTLY pull off the tape from Scott's chest hairHe was a trooper! He could not escape having many hairs ripped from his chest and he didn't even yell out, "AHHHH...Kelly Clarkson!!!" (What movie trailer is that quote from?)Carson has had to go with Scott a couple of time to therapy before the surgery and he loves it there! He loves the padded blocks, big balls, and candy they have.

Scott's little spiders. You can still see the remnants of the doc's initials above the one in the middle. It looks so simple but we must remember all the carnage happened inside his shoulder.

Scott's is doing well. He felt good enough to get a haircut today. He is not supposed to shower till Friday and we thought getting a haircut and shampoo would be a good solution to help him feel a bit cleaner. He also only took one nap today.

Pam, your lucky you have a hubby that takes care of his body. My boy has had two torn rotator cuffs for two years and still hasnt gone in for surgery. So glad yours did. BTW - Im copying your twilight stuff to put on my blog if thats ok?

I am glad that he is doing better. Physical Therapy sucks while you are having it, but makes the recovery so much nicer.

Pam this is so funny but you know Ben and Cristina? I actually went to highschool with both of them. I found her blog through another friends who happened to visit mine and then saw your blog linked on there. Holy cow! Talk about a small world.
Hey. Feel free to take the Monday Meet n' Greet idea . . .and just know that no ideas are original. I got mine from somewhere too . . .
