Surgery Survived
Here's how our experience went...
The night before, Scott had a blessing, then Toby showed his concern by sleeping on Scott
We actually woke up and made it to the hospital BEFORE the Surgery Waiting area was even open!! We were very impressed with ourselves
Scott got all checked in
Then they preped him for the surgery. The doctor came in and put his initials right on the shoulder to be operated on. It reminded us of when I had my knee surgery, except then the docs put a huge NO! on the wrong knee
Ready to go! Nice hat!
This is how I kept up with his progress. Although I did go home to check on the kids, when I got back I could see what his progress was. He was patient # 5115...you can see he was in the operating room at this point
Recovery...he was sooooooooooooooooo *gasp for air* oooooooooooooooooooooooo sleepy
Here he is barely awake...just enough for us to get him into a wheelchair and then into the car and then into his bed
This picture is after several hours of sleep but before several more hours of sleep. About 8:00pm tonight he finally roused enough to get up and eat and walk around and help me get the kids into bed for SCHOOL TOMORROW!!! (They have been out for their 2.5 week fall break - I love the 2 week break, it's the .5 they tack on at the end that drives me over the edge)
